Since its foundation in 1991, MICROSTEP GmbH has developed into a good address for solving individual drive problems for many areas of industry. Today, MICROSTEP GmbH's range of services includes the development, manufacture and sale of stepper motors, linear actuators, special drives and control systems.

Our company is located in Sömmerda, 25 km from the Thuringian capital Erfurt. This means that we are not only continuing the long tradition of an industrial location that is more than 200 years old, but also continuing the success story of Sömmerda stepper motors.

Our philosophy

We have the competence and experience to work closely with our customers to develop individual, customised solutions beyond standard motors and to provide them at short notice. High flexibility, adherence to delivery dates, product design according to customer requirements and continuous assurance of our quality standards are important factors in our company's development. This is only made possible by tried and tested partners and proven supplier relationships, but above all by long-serving and experienced employees.

Our products and drive solutions are suitable for many applications and can be individually adapted and modified according to customer requirements. That is why our customer structure is as diverse as our product range. In addition to classic industrial customers, we also serve highly specialised world market leaders with special requirements. The range extends from automatic testing machines for tobacco products to mobile air-conditioning units. What distinguishes us here is a high degree of flexibility, especially when it comes to the smallest quantities. The only limitation we know is physics. So far, we have not succeeded in overcoming this. But we are working on it.
